Paris Fashion Week: H&M Studio S/S 17 Collection

H&M always puts on outstanding shows but this years definitely seemed to catch our eyes.

The H&M frow featured stars such as Nicki Minaj, Korean fashionista Irene Kim and Alexa Chung.

The colour theme here was monochrome, khaki and neon pink. The models showed off slicked back hair in a low ponytail or plaits, which was finished off with a black ribbon across their hairline.

The show was inspired by the power of love, grace, strength and passion of ballet. H&Ms’s Head of Design, Pernilla Wohlfahrt said:

“Bringing fashion immediately from catwalk to checkout marks a new era for the fashion industry and we value the direct communication we can have with customers through a ‘see now, buy now’ collection. Anything that brings us closer to our customers and makes fashion even more accessible is very positive. With this collection we want to send a global message of love. There are a few pieces that carry the word again and again, kind of like a ticker tape and as a constant reminder of what is important. It feels like now, more than ever, we all need positive feelings and thoughts in our lives.” (ABOUT.HM.COM, 2017)

The show starred both of the world’s hottest modelling sisters, GiGi and Bella Hadid and was completed with a show from American artist, The Weeknd.
